Joshua’s First Day in Malaysia
The trip back to Malaysia was an eventful and tiring. We have a layover in Newark for 4 hours and our flight was delay for another 5 hours due to mechanical problem. We were stuck in the airport for 9 hours but MAS was very good and provide us bunch of sandwiches, snacks and drinks for all of us. Josh was doing great and I am very thankful to have a wonderful child.
While waiting for our aircraft fixed, I joined bunch of other Malaysian there and get to know each other. Chairs are out of the question once we starts the introduction, we used the floor and make ourselves comfortable….. time flies just like that.

After Newark we had a layover in Stockholm, Sweden and that was crazy. They can’t bring the stroller down because we have to take the stairs. By the way, they lost the stroller when we reached KLIA. Probably left it at Newark Airport.

Once we reached KLIA, we took the next flight to my hometown. Since our flight was delay, MAS gave us a lunch voucher for the inconvenience. At the customer service counter they issue me a new ticket and told me to check for my stroller at the baggage area. I told them my luggage was check in directly to my final destination and I have no idea where the baggage area is. I also afraid I am going to miss my next flight because I wasn’t familiar with KLIA after 10 long years. They told me not to worry because they can get me a ground stuff to show me around. The guy was very helpful and he even lend me his handphone so I can call my sister to let her know about my new flight info. I gave him my lunch voucher and a few US dollar to pay his kindness. I have to say MAS was awesome! I am not bias because I was an ex MAS but I am just stating the truth.
As soon as we reached Kuala Terengganu Airport, my sister took us to a warong for ikan bakar and of course ABC. Gosh, I missed our food so much and I already told my mom that I want durian when I get home. lol

Who doesn’t love ABC? hehehe…. and he loves the spoon and want to take it home. Kicking and crying for the spoon but he got one at my parents house. He slept with the spoon in his hand too.

It was a very long journey but worth every single minute and I’ll do it again and again too. Now for the best part, enjoy the video of Josh. I have to warn you, the first video a little bit dark but the second video was priceless. Thanks to my sister for capturing this moment. I love it!!!
