Counting the day……

Alert:  Tons of pictures !!!!

 

In a few days Josh and I will be flying for a vacation in Malaysia. I’ve been so busy with work and didn’t get a chance to update this blog. Anyway, we will be leaving on 4th of June and should be in Malaysia on the 6th. Anyone who have any experience travelling with a toddler, please post about your experiences. Here is the list of things to do for this trip.

  1. Tickets - √
  2. Passports - √
  3. Stroller - √
  4. Portable DVD player - √
  5. Food , Snack, Juice & Milk - √
  6. Books & Toys - √
  7. Setup Remote Desktop to office computer - √
  8. Luggage - last minute packing ….. :) Can’t starts packing early if I don’t want to bring everything with me.

Seriously, I am over excited to be back and I think Josh is getting some of the excitement.

Some of the pictures from Mother’s day. A day before Mother’s Day, my mother in-law want to bring Josh for a haircut. This is his first haircut by a pro…… before that, Josh got his haircut at Salon Yatie free of charge. I was busy doing a little shopping for Mother’s day so, daddy took Josh to the salon with grandma. :( But I am happy they took bunch of pictures like I asked them. This salon is only for kids….. Josh was having fun sitting in his Home Depot racing car but he wasn’t too happy when the lady starts trimming his hair. At the end, daddy has to hold Josh on his lap while the lady cuts Josh’s hair. The salon also issued us a certificate after Josh was done with his haircut….. pretty cool, eh.

    Lama tak tengok gambar Josh. He is all grown up and what a handsome boy. Have a safe trip home with Josh and makan Malaysian food sampai puas puas for me yea. Take care.

    Look at him. He is a big boy now. I like his new hairstyle. Not too short.
    If I were you, I have packed my luggage by now. Because some airline will charge for extra weight. I hope yours doesn’t.
    You must be excited to see your parents, family and friends.

    Hi yatie..been waiting for your updates.
    You’re coming home?…yay..I’m crossing my fingers now.
    Josh looks real cute even in the ‘Before’ photos. Anyway, the ‘After’ photos is more like a ‘real man’. hahahah. he’s so handsome. Jenuhla you in 20 yrs time yatie…jenuh nak kepong anak teruna sorang tu.
    Kalau sempat nak ke kedah/utara, give me a call at 012-431xxxx. I’ll be waiting.
    Have a safe journey home, yatie.careful of H1N1 too.

    oh!! Josh really grown up now!1 I didn’t know there is a gunting rambut cerft .I guess we never send Mishu to one! we gunting her rambut ourself..Are you sure you wanna to bring stroller? I brought Mishu’s stroller with me when we went back for 2 months but I only used one time at Melaka and another time in Penang,that all!! You know la ppls kat Malaysia tak tunggu you or hold the door for you when you push stroller..when we used Light Train from Daya Bumi to PJ,we was kepit like sardin,mana ada tempat for stroller..tempat duduk punya tak ada!! Then when we vist mall like Mid-Valley and Ikea,all we can see is black heads push here and there…nobody push stroller!!
    Do you need to pack juice…airline ada juice kan? When we took Cathay’s I keep asking OJ for Mishu every hour..Then the air hostess bring 3 glasses sekali at once when I ask for cup noodles! haha! so for milk just pack formula…which airline you take? I didn’t bring any portable DVD coz Cathay’s have TV infront of each seat…the inhouse TV have good selection..Mishu keep flipping at Disney channel…make sure pack extra clothes and his favourite snack for Josh in your carry on bag..hope this help..oh!! don’t forget to bring his security blanket!! that is very important!!

    Hi Kak Zue,
    His new hairdo make him looks like a big boy. I can’t pack early, I’ll pack the whole house if I start packing ealy. Last minute packing, I’ll only bring the things I’ll really need. All airlines charges baggage fee :(

    Hi Lesley,
    The stroller is going to use during transit …… Plus I’ll stuck in Newark tomorrow for 6 hours. He can sleep in his stroller while waiting for our next flight with MAS at 10pm. I can’t really post much, I have so many things to do…. like cleaning my fridge and starts packing. Thanks for the info. I’ll definitely bring his formula.

    A tip to save some cash when enjoying movies it that in place of going to the cinema on a busy day consider renting your movies. The standard cost to lease a DVD is significantly less than 50 % the price of only one movie ticket at your normal movie theater. Another incentive is that you could probably hire about 4 movies from your own local video shop for the same price as 2 tickets at your movie theater.
