I couldn’t believed my eyes ……

Wednesday, October 29th, 2008

Yesterday while I was driving from my office to my accountant’s office I passed a gas station. I couldn’t believed the price dropped like crazy. The gas price near my office is $2.60 per gallon but sadly the gas price near my house is still quite high ($2.99 per gallon). Atleast it’s dropping the price every day.

After I was done doing my work at the accountant’s office, I got some free time to browse around on my friends blogs. One blog that caught my eyes is SaltNTumerics talking about her Nasi Briyani, Beef Rendang and Beef Liver in Black Pepper Soy Sauce. The pictures on her blog make my mouth watering and I have to have it right away, plus the way Farina making it looks so easy. During my “lunch time” uhm…uhm…. I went out searching for some of the ingredients. A long time ago I saw a sign for an Indian Spice Store near my office and off I went. I didn’t find that Spice store but one store caught my eyes.

Far East Food and Gift Store. The one really caught my eyes actually the sign on their door and that made me stop and park my car. I have to check it out if it is true. See below;

It says Malaysian!!!!!  :)

They have so many things including Roti Prata and they also have some stuff that I would never ever expect to see it like the picture below.

Yes, ladies and gentlement ………. I saw RAMBUTAN!!! They also have some fresh buah durian too but I didn’t buy it yet….. don’t want to get my car all stinky. I will be back and get it sometime this week or wait until HB is not home. Hahaha…… Now that I found my new Asian store ….. off I go to my regular Indian store searching for Rendang and Briyani paste. I was so disappointed they do not have any of those….. :( So no Briyani and Rendang for me. huh…huh…huh.

Every year McD has a monopoly game with millions of prizes and I am one of the person who will be playing it for fun. I’ll have McD for breakfast all the time. I know McD is not a healthy food but I just love junk food especially McD. Last year we got bunch of Best Buy Bucks and I can’t remember what my hubby get it at Best Buy. This year I play the online also and so far I won 4 of 25 pts-My Coke Rewards and 3 of 1 Free hour of Wayport WIFI. What am I going to do with that? I have no idea. I also won 4 small soft drink or small coffee, 3 medium fries, 3 any breakfast sandwich and 3 small McFlurry or fruit’N Yogurt Parfait. I’m only going to get my free McFlurry, other stamps I gave it away to the guys at my office.

Do I think I am going to win $1 Million? I don’t think so! I play because it’s fun and I am not going to go to McD and buy 60 hash brown hoping I’ll win a Million dollar. That’s just insane but hey, you never know maybe one day I might gone crazy and starts buying 60 hash brown every morning. :) This game was design not to let people win. It is confirmed the rare pieces for this year are:

If you’re playing this game, please keep the above list with you. When you get the piece listed, you’re a winner and if it is Boardwalk…… feel free to share your winning with us. ;-)

Halloween is getting closer and I am going crazy looking for Josh’s Halloween’s costume. It was hard to find a costume for him. He’s sharing the same problem with mommy. The clothes here are too big for us or it fit us but it’s too short. I have to go clothes shopping at a Junior dept. for tall kids and their style is sooooo not for me. Anyway, What is he going to be? I’ll post it after his first Halloween Trick or Treat. Enjoy your weekend, guys!

This lemon is so sour but I like it. Don’t take it away, Daddy! It’s mine!!!

Who’s The Boss?

Who\'s the boss

Who’s The Boss is one of my favorite shows in the 80’s. The show was about a woman as the breadwinner, while a man stayed at home and took care of the house. It’s a reverse in a real life, especially in the 80’s but nowadays it is a common thing. There’s nothing wrong with it as long as you’re happy and that’s what really matters. I love how Tony Danza and Angela interact with each other, it’s playful and flirty too. :) Boys love this show because of Samantha (Alyssa Milano) no doubt about it. I am also sure a lot of people remember Mona, Angela’s feisty, man-hungry mother.

Josh classroom’s decoration for Halloween

Anyway, the reason I am writing this post is not to talk about the show. I want to talk about a kid in Josh’s class who want to let everyone knows who is the boss in that classroom. Yesterday when I went to pick Josh up, one of the owner of the daycare told me he was being a bad boy by climbing on the table, pushing stuffs around and making a mess with the toys. She said she would have to move him to the next classroom for 1 and 2 year old kids by next week or next 2 weeks. I told her Josh is not ready for a big boys and girls classroom yet. He barely knows how to walk and he will get bully by other kids in that classroom. I am hoping Josh will be ready by the time they move him. *sigh*

I know I am not suppose to sit on a table but I am going to anyway. :)

Looking at the picture below, I don’t think I need to worry about him getting bullied by other kids. Instead I have to start worrying about him bullying other kids.  *Oh! Anak ku. What am I going to do with you.*

Who’s the Boss, now?  :)

Thanks for visiting and have a great day!
