Baby Shower

Tuesday, July 29th, 2008

On July 13th Joshua and I attended a baby shower for Josie and Scott (My mother in law future step son). They have been trying to have their own family for years but keeps having miscarriages. I remember her last pregnancies was almost the same time with mine. We had an awkward moment once when she told us the bad news and at the same time we’re having great news. We don’t even know what to say, other than “Sorry for your lost”. Josie is the kind of people who can’t sit still ……. she has to do something at all times. Everyone told her to take it easy during her pregnancies due to her history with miscarriages but she said she just can’t sit around doing nothing. Anyway, she’s doing better now and this time Josie’s sister is having her third babies and let Josie and Scott adopting her baby. They will be having a baby boy name Cody and I can guarantee that he will be spoil so bad by this couple. :) Actually, they are a very nice couple ………

Grandma and Josh were having a lot of fun.

I always love watching men or women in uniform because they look neat and tidy and not to mention hot!!! A couple of years ago, it became a style wearing an army shirt and tactical pants and I have to say we look good in it. :) LA Police Gear prices are not that bad and I love their patches. Which one do you like the most?

Birthday Celebration - Part One

smokeybones

Since my birthday falls on week day, we as a one happy family went out to Smokey Bones Barbeque & Grill Restaurant to celebrate. Josh was not a very happy camper that night and refused to eat his dinner (turkey and rice). A mother always worry about their kids and I ran accross the street to Toojay’s Restaurant to buy him some applesauce. Actually, I have to beg the cashier to sell me some of their Applesauce. The cashier said she has to charge me for another item instead of Applesauce and that’s fine with me as long as my son is not screaming while we’re having our dinner. By the time I get back to Smokey Bones, Josh already out from his seat and was squirming. Daddy was having a hard time to hold him.  My darling Josh ate his applesauce without any complaint and I am guessing the soft and cold texture help soothe his gum …….. his first tooth erupting from his lower gum. After finishing his dinner, he fell asleep right away. Mommy and daddy quickly eating our dinner before he wake up again. Sorry, no pictures was taken.

Birthday present from daddy ……………….

iphone

Yes, an Iphone ……….. canggih kan? Sadly, they don’t have it in stock and currently I am in the waiting list. ETA between 10 - 20 days from the day it was reserves. Apparently, there’s too many demand for that cool phone, some people try to make some money and selling it for more than $800 bucks on ebay. Lucky, hubby already has it ……….. he probably will be one of the bidders.

Happy Birthday to me!
